FA reject Zokora appeal

Didier ZokoraI can’t believe the FA have once again turned down an appeal, this time over Didier Zokora’s sending off at Manchester City. It was very clear that is was in no way shape or form a red card, therefore how can the FA back the decision as ’serious foul play’?

This is twice that the FA have let us down - the previous time was when Robbie Keane was sent off in the Birmingham City defeat. That time is was a yellow card at most.

Like Robbie, Zokora will be miss three matches. The ban starts this Saturday against Arsenal.

Talking of Arsenal, they will be our opponents in the semi-finals of the League Cup. The first leg is away on the 9th of January. Hopefully this year we can get a good result away and then finish them off at White Hart Lane.

Manchester United offer Saha and Brown for Berbatov?

Posted by Stevio in Rumours on December 19th, 2007

Dimitar BerbatovFollowing Spurs’ fantastic quarter-final cup win at Manchester City yesterday, the Daily Express are today reporting that Manchester United want Dimitar Berbatov.

According to the newspaper, United have offered Spurs Louis Saha and Wes Brown and £6million in cash.

If this is true, well it’s laughable, as Louis Saha and Wes Brown are both injury prone, plus the cash on offer is rather insulting.

It’s quite clear Berbatov is a world class player, therefore if they’re serious, they should start talking world class money.

It’s unclear whether the Bulgarian’s heart is still at White Hart Lane, however, his recent performances suggest that perhaps he is happy afterall in North London.

I really hope he stays, especially on recent performances.
